Lunch

Quick post before I start my weekend routine house cleaning.

Lunch:
1 cup of steamed broccoli
1/2 piece of naan bread
Chicken curry

P90X Lean Phase 2: Day 29 - Core Synergistics

I don't think I pushed myself far enough this exercise, even though I attempted to do more reps until I couldn't hold myself anymore while doing the push ups. But I still did my push up on my knees with the exception of the Prisoner Cell Push Up.
I tried to use my resistance band to do the "Lunge & Reach" as Pam did, but failed. My arms aren't strong enough to pull even the lightest band that I have * shame on me..boohoo!!* Also I am still scared that band is going to snap at me...won't be pretty.
Now on today's menu for my breakfast:
1 cup of plain soy milk with 1/2 tsp cocoa powder and 1/2 tsp sugar
3 small cups of tea
1/2 ham & cheese sandwich
Slices of naan bread

I might want to practice to use the resistance band later from the DVD that came along with the package.

P90X Lean Phase 1: Day 28 - Rest

I decided to take this day off instead of doing X Stretch. But I did some Yoga from this 10 minute Yoga solution for the Abs focus and Buns & Thighs. Her way of doing yoga is a little different from Tony. She shows the basis of each pose and how to do the transitioning and how to modify the pose as well. But most of her poses will look familiar to those who've done Tony's P90X Yoga.

Btw here's my today's menu:

Breakfast:
1 cup of plain soy milk mixed with 1/2 tsp cocoa powder and 1/2 tsp sugar
2 cups of tea
1 piece of red bean bread slice
1/2 piece of naan bread

Lunch:
Chicken curry
2 pieces of naan bread
1 piece of croquette

Dinner:
Stir fry asparagus
stir fry broccoli
Pork bone soup with mushroom & papaya chunks
3-4 slices of apples

Yesterday's dinner
Stir fry dried anchovies with tomatoes & Korean pepper paste
Stir fry cabbage with some oyster sauce
Steamed broccoli with oyster sauce
2-3 pieces dried apricots

For some reason, yesterday I was feeling hungry for almost the whole day. :( Not super hungry, just felt want to always munch something. Maybe I didn't have enough food intake.

Anyway, tomorrow is the beginning of Phase 2. TIME TO BRING IT!

P90X Lean Phase 1: Day 27 - Yoga X

Yoga was good and I can feel that I become more flexible than last time. However, I still couldn't do Half Moon poses, Crane and torso. K also joined me this morning, even though he stopped after the Prayer's Twist.

This is the end of the recovery week. Next week, I'll be pounded again.

On the menu:

Breakfast:
Mixed almond & dried cranberries
1 almond bread
1 cup of green tea
** I forgot my soy milk this morning ***

Lunch:
White rice mixed with purple yam
Stir fry lettuce
1 egg omelet
1 small apple

Afternoon snack:
2 small apples

Dinner:
TBA

Yesterday's dinner:
2 Tbsp stir fry diced potatoes seasoned with turmeric, garlic powder
2 Tbsp white rice mixed with purple yam
2 egg omelet with a bit of soy sauce
left over boiled broccoli
1 small apple

Thursday, February 25, 2010

Today's menu

Breakfast:
1 cup of plain soy milk w/ 1/2 tsp cocoa powder & 1/2 tsp sugar
1/4 cup almonds & dried cranberries
1 piece of bread w/ sweet peanut filling
1 cup of green tea

Lunch:
2/3 soft tofu with soy sauce garlic sauce
Mixed white rice with purple yam (maybe about 1/4 cup)
Steamed broccoli (abt. 1 cup)
Baked chicken breast meat marinated with lemon juice and spices/herbs
1 small apple

Pretty much my lunch is a left over from last night dinner.

Afternoon snack:
1 or 2 small apple (haven't decided yet)

Dinner:
TBA - not much left over from yesterday except for the mixed white rice w/ purple yam. I have lots of cabbage in my fridge. Let's see what I'm going to cook it as.

P90X Lean Phase 1: Day 26 - Cardio X

Another good workout that drenched me in sweat at the end. K still joined me for the morning workouts, even though he didn't do all the moves in the full extent. It's understandable since this is really his first time.

I seriously need that thick mat for floor workouts. My left hip bone was still bruised from doing banana roll in Core Syn and I tried to do superman banana today. Bad move. It seems like the bruise will get worse. :(

I saw this interlocking soft tiles at RubberFlooringInc and still debating whether to get it or not. It's so EXPENSIVE!!! If anyone has better suggestions, let me know.

Today's dinner

Just a quick post before hitting the sack.

Dinner:
Steamed broccoli
Baked chicken breast marinated w/ lemon & spices
Soft tofu w/ soy sauce dressing

A very simple yet healthy menu :)

Snooze......

For some reason I am feeling sleepy now. Not sure if I didn't get enough sleep or this morning Stretch was too relaxing.

P90X Lean Phase 1: Day 25 - X Stretch

I was debating if I should just skip the X Stretch and got some extra sleep or not. In the end I decided to drag my ass off from the bed. K also joined me today for the X Stretch. Not sure why, I feel sleepy after the X Stretch, maybe because it was more for relaxing and stretching.

Today's menu:

Breakfast:
1 cup plain soymilk w/ 1/2 tsp sugar for taste
A handful of mixed nuts, almonds, dried blueberry w/ honey
1 coconut flakes bread
1 cup of green tea

Lunch:
1/2 cup white rice
Lentils w/ tomato stew (left over from yesterday)
Stir fry cabbage w/ fish cake slices
1 small apple

Snack:
1 small apple

Dinner:
TBA

Last night dinner:
Steamed broccoli
lentils w/ tomato stew
stir fry cabbage w/ fish cake slices
1/2 cup of fish congee

The food portions are approximate as I didn't religiously measure every single thing with my measurement cup.

P90X Lean Phase 1: Day 24 - Kenpo X

I had a workout buddy this morning....it's K. It seems like my motivation starts to lure him into doing morning workout, but we'll see how long will he last. Anyway, we had to get up a bit earlier so we will have ample of time to get ready to work.

K is pretty new in this Kenpo, despite he did this once before. I could understand that after the second jumping jack session, he decided to call it off.

As for me, I felt really good this morning. I didn't even crash towards the end of the workout. In fact, I felt I had lots of energy to burn. Maybe I got enough sleep last night (slept before 10 pm and got up at 4:30 am this morning). Or maybe I had good dinner last night (homemade whole wheat Indian roti dipped into lentils & tomato stew, steamed broccoli and tomato & cabbage soup)..Yummers!

As today's breakfast:
1 cup of green tea (at home)
1 cup of plain soymilk (w/ 1/2 tsp sugar for taste)
1 almond bread
1 cup of green tea bag (at work)
2 pieces of mixed nuts/blueberry

Lunch:
3 pieces of whole wheat Indian roti
1 bowl of lentils tomato stew with steamed broccoli
1 small apple

Snack:
Mango slices & oranges
1 small apple

Dinner:
TBA

Note: Btw, I noticed I have a small bruise on my left hip bone. Prolly because of the banana roll yesterday on top of my thin mats :(

P90X Lean Phase 1: Day 23 - Core Synergistics

I got myself a set of resistance band yesterday and was going to try it on Core Syn today. However, I don't quite understand how to use them. The set comes with three color resistance bands (red, blue and black). I decided to try the red one, thinking it might be the lightest. When I tried to do the "Lunge and Reach", I felt the band isn't long enough for me to do the reaching as Pam did. Got scared the band might break and snap at me haha...so in the end I ended up with my bottle water.

I still need to get a thicker mat for doing floor workout. Banana roll and superman-banana are painful to do on a tile floor with 2 thin mats :(

P90X Lean Phase 1: Day 22 - Yoga X

Not much for Yoga, except I am still struggling with the Half Moon poses, crane and torso. After the morning workout, my schedule was pretty hectic. From grocery shopping, cooking and cleaning the house, my day basically gone. But it's good to stay active so I won't feel that I just wasted my day without doing anything.

This week is recovery week, so the workout will be less intense. No weight lifting and abs, makes me happy. Can't believe that I'm almost done with Phase 1.

P90X Lean Phase 1: Day 21 - X Stretch

I finally made an effort to do X Stretch. Not much to say besides it's good to do a one hour stretch after all those other workouts during the week. Besides my back was a bit sore from my intensity with Kenpo punches yesterday.

Btw, does anyone know what Tony means by "You make gumpy look like a tin man?" I heard that at least twice from Tony (one is with Shawna in X Stretch and with Adam in Core when he was doing the warm up stretch).

P90X Lean Phase 1: Day 20 - Kenpo X

I had hard time going to sleep again last night, but at least I wasn't awake for the whole night, unlike the other day.

However, I got up extremely late (in my terms anyway), around 5:40 am. So after getting ready and everything, it was 6 am already. I finished everything around 7 am sharp, which was not bad. Just the timing was pretty tight as I had to quickly put everything away (my laptop, mat, shoes, put the coffee table where it used to be) and hit the shower.

I tried to raise up my intensity when doing the punches and kicks. The more I moved the hips around, the more intense my punches are. But my side kicks and back kicks were still wobbly, but they are higher than before tho.

At last, finally weekend is HERE again! Can't believe this month is almost over and I am almost done w/ Phase 1. Next week will be Recovery week, so the workout will be less intense.

P90X Lean Phase 1: Food Journal (Week 1 -2)

I've been trying to upload my food journal but always FAIL to do that.
The reason is mainly either I forget or I get lazy to do it. Anyway, I just do a screen shot of my food journal from Week 1 and Week 2. No pictures, just a bunch of list of what I ate during these time.

Week 1:

Week 2:
Note:
B: Breakfast
S: Snack
L: Lunch
D: Dinner

P90X Lean Phase 1: Day 19 - Legs & Back, Abs

Ok, I had to drag my ass off from my bed this morning because I'm not quite fond of this Legs & Back workout. Anything to do with a lot of squatting is a nightmare for both of my knees. So, some of the moves I didn't even bother to do it at their pace.

Abs was quite a challenge after I did Legs & Back, plus I was super hungry that I nearly crashed. Doing morning workout in empty stomach sometimes can be very exhausting, but I like the convenience of not getting into any of my other daytime schedule.

I used to do workout in the evening 1-2 hours after the dinner. But the downside of it, I tend to get sloppy and lazy to keep up with it. Then I tried to switch it to the evening before dinner/after come back from work. It worked fine but the timing wasn't working for me. I ended up having late dinner and have to wait a little later to go to sleep. So early morning workout works for me.

P90X Lean Phase 1: Day 18 - Yoga X

Finally, last night I got a good night sleep so I was up for Yoga this morning. I started to do my own pace since I don't need to wait for Tony's instruction on how to do each pose correctly blah blah blah....Besides I've memorized the poses in my head, just need to keep track on how long I would hold each pose. To make it easy, I just do 5 breathings average for each poses (except for the half moon poses which I can't even manage to stay on for 5 second).

At the end of Yoga, I swear I almost fell asleep when doing the Savasana (Corpse pose)...LOL.

P90X Lean Phase 1: Day 17 - Abs, Shoulders & Arms

Yup, you read the title right. I did the Abs first this morning before the Shoulders & Arms workout. I didn't actually get any sleep at all last night and I almost almost want to bail out from today's P90X schedule. However, in the end, my motivation is still pretty strong in me and dragged my lazy ass off from the bed.

I started out really late today (5:30 am) so I decided to do the Abs first so I can just skip the Shoulders & Arms warm ups. I skipped the bonus round in the Shoulders & Arms and just went through the cool down stretch.

I wasn't thinking I'd survive the workout today because of my lack of sleep at night. But surprisingly, I managed to complete almost all of the Abs reps, including the Oblique V Ups (both sides). Usually I only managed to do 15 reps max on each side, but this morning, I managed to keep up w/ Tony's folks.

Anyway, time to get back to work and hopefully I won't fall asleep at my desk. Also I'm thinking to reduce my green tea from two tea bags to 1. Let's see if this helps.

Insomnia

It's almost midnight here and I still can't fall asleep! I went to bed around 9:30 pm, hoping to get more sleep so I can have more energy for Shoulders & Arms, Abs for tomorrow, but seems like it's not happening. *sigh*

I am not sure if I had too much tea in the morning (it's been more than 12 hours), or the stupid dripping faucet in the bathroom that getting annoying, or is it my stupid cramps, or whatever.

I feel tired but I just can't fall asleep.

P90X Lean Phase 1: Day 16 - Cardio X

I had to force myself to roll out from the bed this morning. It starts getting harder for me to keep up with this routine and I'm STILL in Phase 1...DOH! Gotta find a way to motivate myself more. Maybe I should go to be much earlier to have a little extra rest.

Anyway, Cardio X is one of my favorite workout but it's just a little hassle. Why? Because it starts up doing Yoga, which in my case I have to take out my shoes and socks to do it. I know the folks on the video can just do it fine with their shoes on, but not in my case. I tend to get stuck when I started to swing my leg to my hands when transitioning from downward dog pose to runner pose or warrior poses. My shoes might a bit bulky to do this move..haha. Also doing floor workouts on a tile floor with only 2 mats as your cushions is not fun at all. I might want to invest on gym mat to give my workout space more cushion.

P90X Lean Phase 1: Day 15 - Core Synergistics

Almost forgot to post this today. I did Core this morning and I think I wasn't at my best performance. I almost crashed towards the end and at some point I also had to catch my breath. Anyway, it might have something to do with my lack of sleep yesterday.

Saturday, February 13, 2010

P90X Lean Phase 1: Day 14 - Rest

It's a very sleepy day because I couldn't sleep last night. I was going to do some X Stretch today but guess I'm not up to it. Anyway, I'm going to my friend's place for Chinese New Year dinner. Already made some cookies for the thank you gift.

Friday, February 12, 2010

P90X Lean Phase 1: Day 13 - Kenpo X

It's Kenpo karate time, people. BRING IT!!!! Surprisingly, my upper thighs aren't as tight and sore as yesterday, so I survived Kenpo workout this morning, minus the Saunders Cycle warm up. However, my knees are still a little sore and stiff, probably from the Legs & Back squatting and Yoga's Bound warrior pose. I still couldn't manage to keep my prayer squat as firm as the P90X folks.

Anyway, it's Friday which means, tomorrow will be my weekend for both workout and work..isn't it wonderful? I can sleep in a bit, though the latest I get up is about 7:30 am. I can't sleep in too late.

Also for those who celebrating Lunar New Year (or Chinese New Year as most people call it), Happy Chinese New Year!!!

Thursday, February 11, 2010

P90X Lean Phase 1: Day 12 - Legs & Back, Abs

I hate speed squatting!!!! Since my knees are still a bit stiff and sore from yesterday's Yoga Bound Warrior pose (forgot what Tony called it in the video), I didn't push myself too much doing the squatting in this workout. Single leg wall squat, speed squatting (again I forgot what Tony called it) are the WORST for my knees to take right now. So I decided not to bend too much. Sneaky lunge was pretty interesting and I'm surprised that I could hold my form pretty good without losing balance. As for the pull up chin bar I just lifting my 2 big bottle water in front of me and did the movement as if I had a resistance band. Even though I didn't participate in some of the workouts, I still managed to break some pretty good sweat. I could even feel it dripped over my face.

Ab Ripper X after the Legs & Back was still challenging. However, I could complete more reps than last week.

Wednesday, February 10, 2010

P90X Lean Phase 1: Day 11 - Yoga X

Ok, I admit I "cheated" a bit this morning when doing Yoga X. I fast forwarded the Standing Split, Half Moon poses, crane and side leg raise, didn't hold some poses as long as the folks on the video because I started a bit late this morning. Luckily, I still managed to finish before 7 am. Anyway, my right knee feel a little hurt right now, and I'm so dreading the Legs & Back workout tomorrow. Wish me luck!

P90X Lean Phase 1: Day 10 - Shoulders & Arms, Abs

I just realized I didn't include Yoga X on my P90X list on the right column, so I edited earlier. Shoulders & Arms workout started to get me interested in it. I started to feel some burn on my arms and shoulders this morning, prolly because I added more weights (meaning bigger water bottles..haha and guess what I actually HAVE a pair of 8lbs dumbbells). I didn't use the 8lbs dumbbells as much cause they're still quite heavy for me and I don't want to injure myself.

Ab Ripper X was ok after the shoulders & arms workout. At least I could complete more reps. Since I didn't do as much abs as I used to be, I started to feel more of it. Maybe it's a good thing.

Monday, February 8, 2010

P90X Lean Phase 1: Day 9 - Cardio X

I got a good night sleep that I almost couldn't get up this morning. I was jolted when my cellphone alarm went off and had to force myself to get up from the bed. Cardio X made me sweat like crazy. I could feel my sweat dripping all over my face, but it's all good.

My shoulders and arms are a bit sore from yesterday's Core push ups and my upper back thighs are a bit sore from the lunges. However, still didn't stop me to perform a decent Cardio X.

The Plyometrics sequence was a bit challenging for me as doing lots of jumping with empty stomach almost made me crash. But I kept telling myself to focus on my workout. And talking about doing superman-banana on a tiled floor? Gosh, I had to fold my 2 mats to give myself lots of cushion. Unfortunately, it only covered enough my trunk area. My shoulders were still exposed to the tile and if I wasn't careful enough, I might put a lot of strains on them. I didn't finish the whole superman-banana as I started to feel my form wasn't that great.

Sunday, February 7, 2010

P90X Lean Phase 1: Day 8 - Core Synergistics

Last night I felt like I didn't get any deep sleep as little noises tended to keep me awake. By the time I checked the clock, it was 6:20 am, I decided just to get up. However, I didn't feel sleepy nor tired for not getting any deep sleep. So I did Core Synergistics today. It seems like I started to be able to do a little more reps for the push ups even though my form 'was not that great yet. At the end of the regular work out, I tried to do some of its bonus round, but didn't survive..haha. I crashed just doing the Plank to Chaturanga Iso. It's a 1 minute workout where you need to hold on the Plank pose for about 10 seconds then you switched to Chaturanga and hold it for 10 seconds. Do that in sequence for 1 minute long.

I broke a lot of sweat from this workout and I am very happy. Core Synergistics is one of my favorite workout in addition to Kenpo X and Cardio X. It's more a hybrid between cardio workout, abs workout and weight lifting workout. Anyway, I better hit the shower now.

P90X Lean Phase 1: Day 7 - Rest or X Stretch

I decided to sleep in today so no P90X. Besides I had some errands to run. In the morning, I had to go for a dentist appointment for my regular cleaning, despite having this stupid canker sore at the back of my mouth. The dentist told me that I might have to have my upper two wisdom teeth taken out (yeah, my canker sore is one of the problem).

In the evening, I went to my friend's birthday dinner at a Korean BBQ restaurant. Hopefully I didn't bust my meal plan for the first week of my P90X. I tried the steamed egg a little bit (the one in the stone pot), and it was ok. Not many people touched the kimchi (below the steamed egg), even though it wasn't that spicy. However, the taste was a little too salty for me to eat without any rice, so I just nibbled on it a bit. I didn't try the others.
Anyway, since I am not a big fan of red meat, I mostly eat their side dishes which mostly were vegetables. Our group was pretty small tonight because a lot of my other friends couldn't make it. So I managed to finish that whole plate of salad (top right)...haha. The glass noodle was not bad, but I don't usually eat too much carb at dinner so I just had a small bite of it. Below the rice noodle was the rice wrapper. It's kind of like Korean style tortilla. You wrap the vegetables and the BBQ meat, dip it in a sauce before you eat it. I had about 1-2 wraps. The one next to the rice wrapper dish was pickled radish. I luv those things and I finished all of them...haha.
The birthday cake was a cream cheesecake, which was my least favorite one so I decided to skip it. But it looks pretty..hehe.

So, tomorrow will be my second week of P90X Lean Phase 1. Time to BRING IT!

Friday, February 5, 2010

P90X Lean Phase 1: Day 6 - Kenpo X

Kenpo X is one of my favorite workout, despite what other people said that it's the most inferior workout among P90X program. It's fun cause I can pretend that I know karate moves even though I'm sure my kicks and punches can't even knock down anyone..haha.
I'd say I enjoy any workout that involves cardio with Plyometrics as an exception because it's too much for my knees to handle the jumping squats that it has.

I'm still struggling doing the "Saunders Cycle" warm up, especially with the squats. I'm pretty bad in any squatting workouts because of my weak knees.

Anyway, it seems like I survive the 1st week of P90X Lean Routine. Tomorrow I can sleep in a bit and take a break...or maybe do X Stretch, depends on my mood.

P90X Lean Phase 1: Day 5 - Legs & Back, Ab Ripper

Today I woke up waaay earlier than my alarm clock but had to go back to sleep again. It was 1:30 am!! Oh wait...maybe I shouldn't be too proud of waking up before my cellphone alarm. This morning, I woke up LATER than my cellphone alarm. It was 5:15 am, and I nearly jumped out from my bed, wondering why the hell I didn't hear my cellphone alarm. It turned out that I forgot to turn it on..DOH!

After getting ready, I was dreading that I couldn't do both Legs & Back and continued to Ab Ripper due to the timing. However, I still managed to do both. Here's why, I skipped some of the Legs & Back exercises, especially the pull ups. I don't have any pull up bars nor resistance band so those workouts are meaningless to me. Btw, I guess Legs & Back will be in my least favorite workout, along with the other weight lifting workouts. My knees are pretty weak, so I try not to do deep squats as it'll put more strains on my knees. I think I got this knee problem since I tried to do the squat from Core X. Despite my arbitrarily, I still managed to break some sweats from this Legs & Back.

Ab Ripper felt so much tougher after I worked on my legs alot. Speaking of which, I felt more burn on my legs & thighs than my abs doing the bicycle moves and crunchy frog. Anyone noticing this or perhaps I didn't do those right?

Wednesday, February 3, 2010

P90X Lean Phase 1: Day 4 - Yoga X

I went to bed quite late last night for watching the final season premier of LOST. Surprisingly, I still could get up even before my cellphone alarm went off. So, I managed to get up before 5 am, which was my original plan.

Yoga X was quite challenging this morning, especially I didn't get enough sleep. After it got to Warrior 3, I skipped through the balance postures right away. Despite been doing Yoga X for quite a while, I still can't manage to do standing split and half moon poses, not to mention Crane and Side leg raise (towards the end before the 3 Ways Touch the Sky). But in the end, I still managed to finish the whole workout.

Observing my morning workouts these past couple days, I noticed that I started to feel hungry and had less energy after I was halfway of the exercise. I heard that doing workout in empty stomach does help you to burn the stored fat. However, I felt I had not much energy to continue, but I just forced myself to keep going.

Also another bad thing is that after the workout is done, I feel super hungry that I ate more for my breakfast. Don't get me wrong, I don't mean I indulge those high fatty stuff like bacons and sausages (I hate those stuff), mainly just more bread pieces. Not sure if this will backfire on me or not. Even though I am not planning to lose weight, I have no intention to chunk up either.

Tuesday, February 2, 2010

P90X Lean Phase 1: Day 3 - Shoulders & Arms, Ab Ripper X

I got up a couple of times last night because I reminded myself to wake up earlier today to do the next P90X workout: Shoulders & Arms, Ab Ripper X. Since this workout will go a little longer than 1 hour, I need to get up at 5 am at the latest. It might not such a good idea for me to "set my own body alarm" clock cause I tend to get up waaay to early (woke up at 3 am, then 4 am then a little bit before 5 am). Again I woke up even before my cellphone alarm went off.
Anyway, did I tell you that weight lifting is my least favorite workout? I don't have any dumbbells nor resistance bands, so I just used my 2 water bottles filled with water as my weight. For some part of the workout sequence, those 2 water bottles were enough, but for some might be not enough. I didn't break that much sweat as I did with other cardio workouts and I found this weight lifting exercise to be a little slow for me. Maybe because I didn't enjoy it as much.

After the Shoulders & Arms done, I was debating whether I continued to the Abs or just do the Abs later tonight after I got back from work. Since tonight is the premier event of LOST final season, I decided to do the Abs. Surprisingly, doing Abs right after another workout was quite challenging. I couldn't complete some of the sequence (Fifer scissors, Oblique V Ups, reverse bicycle) as I felt out of energy and was feeling super hungry. But I still could complete Mason twist throughout the bonus round.

Breakfast

Not much today, just a piece of bread filled with red bean paste, a banana and a cup of double green tea bags. :) I had it at 8:30 am and still feel full until now. Hopefully it'll hold up until lunch time later.

P90X Lean Phase 1: Day 2 - Cardio X

Funny I had a dream that I got up late to do my 2nd day of P90X workout LOL...and good thing is it actually WOKE me up FOR REAL. I checked my cellphone and good thing the alarm hasn't went off yet. It was 5:20 am and my cellphone was set to 5:30am.
I thought to myself, ok got up on my own 10 minutes earlier than the alarm, not bad. After I got up, washed my face, brushed my teeth and drank some water, I went down to the living room area and set up everything.
Since my living room area is all tiled, I need to use double mats as my cushion to do the floor workouts (superman banana & dreya roll). Also I found it annoying to do yoga in the beginning of the workout cause I had to take off my socks and shoes. Yeah, it's weird that I can't do yoga with shoes on. I finished the entire Cardio X at around 6:35 am. Perfect timing to get ready to go to work. I figured 5:30 am might not be early enough for me to do other workout programs since they're mostly about 1 hr - 1.5 hr long (yoga X). So I might have to get up at 5 am most of the time.. oh well hopefully I can do it tomorrow.
